MCRC Summer Picnic

Come one come all to a fun afternoon at Elizabeth park. Here is an opportunity to get some sunshine and enjoy the company of your fellow hams. 

This is a BYOM event. (bring your own meal) Pack a picnic lunch for yourself and maybe a desert of special treat to pass around. This is NOT a pot luck. 

You are encouraged to bring a radio and make some contacts as well. In the past some members have set up QRP or small portable stations to make a few casual contacts. Show off that cool new GO box you spent the summer putting together.

Maybe just relax by the water and watch the freighter traffic on the river. Bring your far-come-near goggles and spot some wildlife.

Folding/Camping
Food (remember to be sure and bring enough food for yourself)
Sunscreen
Bug Spray
Maybe a shade tent
