We have been contacted by the family of W8PYW, who became a SK in 2014.

His son is working through the estate and there are some ham radio items that they would like to sell. Specifically two towers and an antenna.

    Rohn Tower 120ft ~ $500
    Aluminum 60ft tower ~ $300

The antenna doesn't have much for identification other than a note that says "Assembly material for HiGain Quad" asking ~ $200

If anyone is interested, please contact KD8HFX and he will pass on the seller's contact information.

Michigan QSO party is just around the corner. April 16th!!!

Now is a great time to start testing your equipment and getting ready to make at least one contact in each of Michigan's 83 counties.

Going mobile? Some operators choose to go mobile and help to activate some of the quieter counties in MI. Make sure you list your plans on the Michigan QSO web page.

Worried how you are going to keep track of all 83 counties and your contacts with them?  Download the MIQSO contest logging software from N3FJP.

To find out more about the Michigan QSO party including rules and log submission information, visit their website. https://miqp.org/
